Johannes Brahms: Fantasies

After the Eight Piano Pieces Op. 76 (1878) and the Rhapsodies Op. 79 (1879) Brahms had another long break from the piano.
The Fantasies are the first pieces belonging to the composer’s late years. Composed mostly in the summer of 1892, they were published in two volumes that year by Simrock in Berlin.
A month before publication, the set encompassed five rather than seven pieces, but Brahms added two pieces at the last minute.
Considered as a whole, the work makes a coherent and persuasive sequence, with two capriccios in D-minor as first and last pieces, and three of the other pieces in E-major.

xx 116, 117, 118, or 119?

I'd like to learn one of these late Brahms cycles, perhaps also to put them on concert programs later on. Anyone who has learned them all, or some or having experience performing them? Feedback most welcome!
