I've just recorded Rachmaninoff - Prelude in G Sharp Minor with my new mic on the recently tuned piano at my parents'. Ok, I've got 2.5 weeks to get this to performance quality... There are a few spots I screwed up on this recording, and I'm still working on getting the coda fluent. I would love suggestions! Repertoire: Chopin Ballade No. 4 by pianalytical
I don't know if this is the right place to post this question, but... I have both the Paderewski (Dover) and Peters Edition of this Ballade (no. 4). When I compare them, bars 72-73 are quite different. The notes in the back of the Paderewski Edition suggests that "the most generally accepted version" is not the version they actually use, but the version that happens to be in the Peters Edition. What version should I use? Also, as a general rule, do most pianists use Paderewski or Peters or some other edition for Chopin? Thanks.

Chopin Ballade 1, 4. Yann Tiersen : Most of his works, even though they might all sound similar to each other :-p.
