Hi everyone
I am having issues in deciding what fingering / arm movement to use for the section where the alternating C / D pattern comes in, followed shortly by an overlapping melody. When it first starts, I am under the impression that I play each note with a different hand (as indicated by the separation of the notes in the bass and treble clefs), but once the melody comes in, do I switch to a basic trill in the left hand and tale the simple melody in the right, or should I maintain that LH / RH consistency?
Also does anyone have any helpful hints for mastering the C sharp octave tremolos in the right hand that come shortly after that section I just mentioned? Thanks everyone.

Don't think I've ever posted any recordings on here before.
This is my favourite of the first book of Debussy Preludes- "what the west wind saw".
Any comments welcome. Also, I will be recording some more of the preludes now I have something that actually works if there are any you particularly want me to post, let me know.

OK, so I'm practising Debussy's 7th prelude. Not too bad so far, but in the middle starts that section with repeated notes (like C in LH alternating with D in RH) that have to be staccato and moderately fast, and then some melody notes kick in...
I'm having trouble figure out which is the best motion to get this right at tempo. If I use finger motion only, no way I can get it to speed, if I use wrist bouncing, I am not even and it gets messy. Forearm staccato (like pedalling kind of movement) is what gives me the best control, but I get tired really soon if I do it fast...
Anybody has played that part ? Any suggestion ? Thanks.
