1 week? hmm, what about the Grieg arietta? you should learn it pretty fast, only 1 page, + its very lyrical and nice. Its Op. 12 no.1. I would recommend some more of his lyrical pieces but there are so many that fit your description so i suggest you give them a listen yourself 
Off the top of my head i can think of Melody Op.47 No.3, Lonely Wanderer Op.43 No.2 and maybe the homesickness op.57 no.6.

Grieg's Arietta fingering

I am sure I have asked this before but I can't find it on the forum or my notes so...
Take the first two bars as example for the rest of the piece.
Would you just play the top note with the right hand and all the other notes with the left or would you play as written playing the base clef notes with the left and the rest with the right.
I keep going back from one to the other and I really can't tell which is better.
