piano size

I am pretty tall, and so have what might be a problem.  On my piano at home, when I sit at the bench, I have to sprawl my knees outward for them to fit under the piano, and even then they are touching the bottom of the keyboard.  It is slightly uncomfortable, but I have gotten used to it.  Is this bad?
