Okay, go VERY BASIC with me. I have videos of myself playing on my computer. How would one get them here? Or at least get the sound of them here?

yeah, thats.... pretty lousy advice there
well, you could follow Johan's directions:
http://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php/topic,10709.0.html
if you still dont understand it, then when you make a new topic, just click "Additional Options" and then "browse" to locate your "videos of [yourself] playing on the computer", hit "Post", and youre done!
Of course, these (lol) "videos of yourself playing on the computer" involve piano, right? haha not Starcraft or Doom 3..

video files types aren't allowed to be attached on PF, you'll have to somehow cut the vid so you only have audio and then convert that to mp3... and unfortunately I have no idea how to do that.
So... to get the vids here...
Upload your files to
http://yousendit.com
and post a thread with the links.

I have never used yousendit.com myself but is this really a good idea?
Their service is appropriate for sending files between two users so they do not really qualify as web host.
As far as I understand your files will expire after 7 days, which not very good for the Audition room because peple will want to listen to your file here for months or ever years.

I use
www.myfilestash.com
cancel that they've disallowed all media formats except images.

Me? A Piano-monkey? I'm not good enough to be one. - Dazzer's thoughts on piano monkeys.
The last recording i did was Etude in A Flat. It would have sounded better in A Hall though.

Here is one way
http://www.videohelp.com/virtualdubaudio.htm
It's a great site, and there are many more articles there. You may want to do some additional searching.
