Hurrah. I finally worked out how to get my old vhs tapes and convert them onto the computer.

format:
video - AVI DIVX 5.1 Codec
audio - mp3

taped in 2001, age 15 year 10. haha i hope i've improved since then... yeach

anyway, enjoy laughing at it.

edit: bah stupid video tends to lag after the sound. i haven't found a way to edit it yet... if anyone have any idea how please help? thanks Smiley

(Click the link to go to a download page... do not Save As)

as a side note, i found this great site. 60mb file size limit, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage. The only limit is a 14 day inactivity restriction. Smiley and ads. apologies for those.

The last recording i did was Etude in A Flat. It would have sounded better in A Hall though.

Sheesh, that was excellent, you were better than the orchestra, shame on them.
Was it a local piano competition, you must have been really excited and happy i gess. Great thing to do at 15.

There are lots of potential reasons. I guess they'll boil down to 2

Problems with the capture [things like dropped frames]

Problems with the encoding - Switching to 15fps [unless the capture card did that?] from whatever the original video was [pal or ntsc] might have caused it.
