How do you play these trills, there is a flat next to "A" key does this mean play g instead of a flat? Thank

Hmmm i'd like to help, but I don't quite understand the question. The Ab in the melody has nothing to do with the trill. The flat next to the A means to play exactly that - Ab, not G.

To play the trill, just play the E (or Eb?) with "tr" above it in a trill like fashion with the F next to it.

No, if the note was a double flat, you would have the sign "bb" before the note. I can see how you got confused, as Ab is already in the key signature of C Minor, however unless the note has a double flat sign before it (bb), then it is A flat, not A double flat. The reason the Ab might be there is either due to an editorial error, or it is reminding you of an Ab that was previously made natural is now flattened again due to the barline.

it is probably a "token" accidental. you probably had an A natural in one of the previous measures. they just wrote the flat sign to remind you that it is an Ab.
