Scriabin Etude Op. 8 Nr. 1

Hi you guys,

Anybody of you played this etude? I would like to learn it and wanted to know how difficult it is , and what the difficulties are. If anybody is familiar with this piece, please give me some advice.

Hi Franz, don't cry, it's so a nice piece 

Play it very leggiero, the last of every triplet with some delicate accent and a minimal fermate feeling. Don't use too much pedal.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Have you played it yourself? If there are others who played it, please let me know, because I really don't know how difficult/easy it will go to learn it.

Hmm, yes, I have played them all (op.8 1-12) many years ago.
I can't even remember, how  horribly it was  

But no.1 is a very pleasant one - even for the pianist (as you possibly already know: I don't give much on metronome markings, so my recommendation: play it slow!     )

I dont really understand people who have an urge to finding out how difficult a piece is before they start playing it. Why not just sit down with a cup of tea, start fiddling with it, look at the hardest parts, try just playing one hand at a time, listen to recordings, compare to other pieces and find out for yourself? If you want to learn it, other peoples opinions shouldnt be in the way. If its too difficult for you, you'll find out soon enough.

I do this, don't worry. Of course I do this. I just want some advice from people who played this, people who know this piece, people who have experiece of this piece. All that just to taccle the piece faster.
