could someone give me an idea on how difficult this piece is? harder, or easier than lets say, fantasie impromptu or rachs piano concerto no. 2 2nd movement..or maybe a scale from 1-10 1 being mary had a little lamb and 10 being rach 3 ..thanks

Erm i think its not quite as hard as the fantasy imp, but it is about 7/8 out of 10 for me.

It depends on if you are right or lefthanded.
This is one those pieces that have been recorded many times but still without the ultimate recording ( like Gould´s recording of the Goldberg variations)

This is the most brilliant rank label that I've ever seen. It reminds a Woody Allen text, Spring Bulletin: "Musicology III: The Recorder. The student is taught how to play 'Yankee Doodle' on this end-blown wooden flute and progress rapidly to the Brandenburg Concertos. Then slowly back to 'Yankee Doodle'." Serious: both pieces are quite similar in difficulty. Best wishes!

for ABRSM i think 8 is the highest and 8+ even higher than the highest  Right now i'm polishing up this etude
