Ballade No3 - Compare

I searched on Youtube, and found couples of different ballades No3. I'm currently playing this Ballade, but have sum questions (tempo, color,...) Which version is a good one to base on?

None of those. Some people will extol Zimerman but he is too carefully planned out for my taste. I have mentioned my favourite versions in other threads, there is much to be learnt from these recordings: Cortot, Friedman, Cherkassky, Rachmaninoff. Very different performances, but each great.

dong min lim version is one which i like the most, so natural and singing..beautiful.
your version is your, play how you feel it should be. dong min lim playing is closest to me, he takes slower first part..exactly how i imagine it. wonderful.

btw, which one do you prefer from those four?
