Totally agree, Cheerful is exactly how to describe this piece and the way it's played. I think it's your best recording so far,was'nt too keen on Rach or Scribin,but this is relly good. What i did'nt like was that painting on the wall , great idea but a window looking out onto a garden would be a lot better,LOL. |

may i know how long you are playing the piano already and are you a professional pianist i mean do you attend a conservatoire ?

Totally agree, Cheerful is exactly how to describe this piece and the way it's played.
I think it's your best recording so far,was'nt too keen on Rach or Scribin,but this is relly good.

Yes, I'm a MM student there in piano performance. I think they recorded a video of the concert, so if/when I get it and there's no copywrite issues I'll see about posting my performances. |

Fabulous! I studied this etude years ago but could not play it at tempo like that. I noticed a little loss of melodic flow at the beginning of the middle section (SO difficult!)--but you got it back right away, and you made it look effortless.
Congrats, and congrats on your winning the competition. You are a marvelous pianist!
