Mozart Sonata in C major K.330, 1st movement
on: November 07, 2006, 10:51:45 PM
Hi all!
I'm going to post my second recording here (first recording was my chopin nocturne op 9 no 2 in this
old topic
).
My new recording is:
Mozart Sonata in C major K.330, 1st movement
Played on Kawai CA7 digital piano.
I thought I played this pretty much error free (that is: error free for my own simple standards! a piece is never perfect of course...). However, it's amazing how many unexpected things I hear when listening to a recording from myself (sometimes it's even frustrating...).
Anyhow, I'm very interested to hear your comments!

Hi Kartman,
Very, very nice! You have a light and playful quality to your touch, and your evenness and clarity are great.
Lovely Mozart. Would love to hear the other movements.

Hello!
I´m very pleased with this recording. the sonata is very beautifull, and you play it very well. It seems you got all the notes, I think the dinamics and articulation are well done to. I only wish you could get the scales around 4:05 more even, it seems a little messed up there. Maibe you should work this section a little more. Doing some slow pratice, and making shure every note will be right there. Fast scales in mozart can be tricky, because you have to make it so cristal clear. All the rest is nicely done, great job! :)looking up for the other movements as well!

Thanks teresa and piano121 for your comments! It's great to get compliments from such great Mozart players like you. I haven't played the other movements yet. I'll make sure to record them If I'm going to play them in the future.

lovely recording, tecnically nice with the odd stutter. Emotionally flat with no musical direction. If you can apply some "passion" you will match the great Glenn Gould.
