Who knows this composer!? I never heard of this composer before, but now I did and I think more people should listen to some pieces by this composer.
For the ones who don't know about Blumenfeld, here 2 Preludes composed by him:

I don't think many people have heard of this composer, wich is too bad, cause he composed beautiful pieces.

Indeed he did write beautiful pieces.
Check the Hyperion disk of his Allegro de Concert Op7.

his left hand etude in a flat is one of the most beautiful left hand pieces ive ever heard. just check out hamelin or fleisher's recordings.
