Yesterday was the Murray Periah concert. It was excellent of course. He played Beethoven op.14 sonatas, Bach partita no.3, Schumann Phantasiestucke, and Chopin's F minor ballade.

He played THREE encores:

Brahms 118/2
Chopin 10/4
Chopin 15/2

I  was so glad i got to go.

SO many of those are my favorite pieces.  I can only imagine how divine that must have been.  I love Murray Perahia.  Love him.

Where did he play?

I went to his recital on Wednesday evening, 11 April 2007, in Bristol. He played:

Bach Partita No 2 in C minor
Beethoven Pastoral Sonata
Brahms Klavierstucke Op 118
Chopin Ballade No 3 in A flat
Chopin Etude Op 25 No 1 and Op 10 No 4

Encores:
Schumann Traumes Wirren
Schubert Impromptu in E flat

Took a photo with him afterwards!
