Why so many Guests?

I'm sorry...I'm new, therefore, don't know much about this.
Why is there so many Guests? People come on and reasearch things that members do! You can sign up to a Silver membership and a Chat membership for free! You also get more choices to music! So why so many decide to remain guests?

Discombobulated? Nice word lol
I had to look it up first. Anyway, I think even some registered members go on Pianostreet sometimes as a guest, without logging in. They prefer to stay incognito sometimes I think. At least sometimes I do this. For instance when I am in a really bad mood and just want too look around if somebody has answered to one of my posts
