Schumann - Aufschwung
«

I'm learning this - I can play all the big chords nice and recklessly (I think this is what "Sehr rasch" means - if you know please tell me!).
When it gets to the semi-quaver section i really struggle to get the melody out with my 5th finger.
I even find it difficult to play quietly.
Please could someone help! Do I just need to practise slower?
Thanks,
Tom

i played this
you need a much lighter touch for the other notes.
at first, try to really emphasize the melody, exaggerate - play the melody very loud and the rest very quitely, slowly begin to play the melody a bit less forte, but always keep the other notes very quite!
just practice.. it will come..

Rasch is German for fast, not reckless.
