Well, you will hear perhaps several different "quotes" in this, as a number of things or styles that I know I have heard came to mind during my improv session here  -- however, lately, I am even dreaming in tongues that I don't truly speak, so we don't really know what's going on with me  Tongue.   Regardless, I feel this is somehow quite representative of my current state and this is just important for my growth -- so, here it is Smiley.

Cheers and thanks for listening !

Haha, I just listened to this, without knowing, on 150% speed, I thought it was a pure CG improv, sounded funny.

Listening now at your intended tempo, it makes more sense, and allround may be the best and sexiest improv I've heard from you.

hmmm... thanks very much, Opus  Smiley.  I am trying to figure out how to listen to it sped up, like you say you did.

It was an accident, but it was an interesting experience  Tongue

It's a function in WMP, but it als makes the sound funny, and hence gave your improv a CG vibe.

That's something I'd like to hear you express though with intent, a comedy improv  Tongue

Okay, I figured out how to do this in Windows Media.  I listened to it fastly, but now I am listening to it in slow mo  Tongue.  What a trip  Tongue ... actually, it's giving me ideas ... hee hee.

And, okay.  I think I would like to do something comic ... but that feels like a big risk to me -- however, I am 'into' taking bigger risks lately...  It may be a bit wild, though.

Okay, first impression: this will be my music for the day Smiley I love the trills, respect for the double trills, even some with one hand as far as I know Cool I love the waltz-nocturne part very much. Okay I would have to say a lot about it and I have just a little break right now, so for now just: thank you for inspiring my morning with this. Keep posting! Smiley

Maychen (this is an affectionate form of "Mayla" in German)  sounds very cute Smiley I mean, I would never say this to her but it sounds cute and you are female so perhaps you can say it Smiley Just so you know: Ich kann auch richtig deutsch sprechen.(translated: I can also speak correct German) But why do some people here just post off topic things without relating to her music? I mean, it is wonderful music and really worth listening. Ok I am a bit like promo at the time I admit lol Grin

Well I'd rather see and hear Mayla playing in a prospective improviser's final on tv. One of the VERY rare reasons why I would actually switch on this machine except for watching some Berezowsky or some other piano or music videos. Tongue

Of course, but should we only share with others what we think they might find amusing also?

Ah, the purity of self-expression is now questioned, is it?  Tongue

The form of the beginning kind of reminds me of Scriabin's Vers la Flamme.  You start out with the trill motif and you just let it grow from there.  I like your taste of octave fury.

The middle sounds like a Chopin inspired piece,  but I can't think up the name of a piece at the moment.  Did I hear some bluesy scales in there?  Was there a quote from The Phantom of the Opera?

I like the return of the trill theme at the end.

Thanks for posting.  Please post more  Grin

Very adventurous, creative and beautiful improv. It is now
on the improvisations list. My favorite parts

1:11 - reminds me a bit of debussy in parts here
2:28 - I like the harmonies here a lot, very dark and agressive..love it
4:15 thru end - oooh...this part is really lovely
