 Dear fellows:
 Last friday, BBC Radio 3 made a program celebrating the english pianist. Cool selection and - as you might expect - wonderful performance. So, enjoy it!

 Here's the set list:

 - Schubert: B flat Impromptu, D935 No 3 (Theme mit Variationen);
 - Schubert: Fantasie in C, D760 (Wanderer-Fantasie)
 - Lili Boulanger: 3 Pieces for violin and piano
 - Mozart: Piano Sonata in C minor, K457
 - Franck: Symphonic Variations for piano and orchestra
 - Schumann: Kinderszenen, Op 15
 - Schubert: Quintet in A for piano, violin, viola, cello and double bass, D667
 - Mozart: Piano Concerto No 27 in B flat, K595

 and the link:

 Best wishes!

 PS: the link will probably be available only until next friday, June 1st.

If Curzon only had played Schubert, he would still be considered one of the greats.  It says a lot for both pianist and composer.

I love those ingenious Lili Boulanger pieces for violin and piano which I first heard on another BBC 3 show, Composer of the Week. They were actually detailing Nadia Boulanger, the great teacher who was not as gifted a composer as her sister, but went on to teach many even more gifted.

Nice to know Curzon played this repertoire
