 Dear fellows:
I have a very simple question: the Preludes by Chopin are not included in the DipABRSM syllabus, but I think some of them meet the required grade. So, what your opinion about which pair/group is best suited to that?

By the way, do you have another non-syllabus work that is possible?

Thanks in advance and best wishes!

i think it partly depends on where you want to put them in the programme . if you put them at the end you should finish with the last one

There are a couple of preludes that are definately above the DipABRSM.  For some that'd fit at that level, I'd say these ones: C major, G major, D major, E major, C# minor, B major, G# minor, F# major, Eb minor, Ab major, F minor, Bb major,  G minor, F major.

The ones that'd sound really good together, and would contrast with eachother (and aren't the super overplayed ones)... E major, C# minor, F# major, Eb minor.  I really don't know; you might have to call the 'place' where they do the repertoire for the level, make sure you know which you are allowed to play... there's a couple that are clearly below, like E minor and A major, and the Bb-, Eb+ are probably a bit higher Tongue ...

 Dears Elevate and Nana:
Thanks for your replies. If I play the Chopin, it will be in the middle for sure, probably after a work by Mozart.
 Best wishes!

theyre hard to put into combinations though, the beauty of them is that they work one after another .

if you can mix n match and make it sound effective, then good job! best of luck.
