Well, anyone played this etude and can tell about its technical/musical difficulties? i sight read it a bit and the left hand looks quite difficult how is it compares to his other etudes? and other pieces of standart repertoire.
I really don't know much about it. It's not my favorite of the Op.8 etudes (I prefer Nos. 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, and 12 over this one...)
The LH especially sounds difficult a la Magaloff tempo.
When I was looking for a Scriabin etude, someone suggested this one to me, so it can't be the hardest of the Op.8 set. It's certainly easier than Op.8 No.12. I suppose it could be placed alongside Op.8 No.2 in terms of difficulty, but then again I really don't know what I'm talking about, and I haven't read through all 12 etudes.
