I heard this great tune from a friend called "To Zanarkand". I heard it was avaliable in piano sheet music and printable but I can't find it anywhere. All I found out is that the tune was from a game called FFX (Final Fantasy X).

Does anyone know where to find this music. Piano sheet music that can be printed off for free.

Thanks,

G.W.K

It's still under copyright, so I can't post it here. It's available for purchase at Amazon.com (I think that's where I got it), and it's possible to find it for free if you Google hard enough.

This is wistful idealism, but I'd love it if Uematsu decided to publish some of the game soundtracks in score form, because the instrumentation on FFVI ~ FFX is remarkable. FFX especially blows me away with the excellent two-piano arrangements on tracks like "Splendid Performance" and "Thunder Plains." Also, the three-guitar piece "Sight of Spira" may be one of his coolest arrangements ever.

The real interest in scores lays more in my curiosity to see the arrangements of pieces like "Sprouting" and "Luca" which have all sorts of different folk instruments blended with keys, electronic effects, etc...

I'd like to see someone make a ripping solo piano version of J-E-N-O-V-A, one of Uematsu's best prog-rock techno themes.

All those tracks you mentioned are by Masashi Hamauzu, not Uematsu. Hamauzu is an excellent composer.

There is a problem however Surasita -

Everytime you try to "sign up" it displays a message "We are not currently accepting any new members..."

Thanks however,

just use final fantasy shrine - btw the one winged angel arrangement for piano alone kinda sucks - but the orchestral version couldn't be better. Be warned that it's all still under copyright ppl. ps. Nobuo Uematsu wrote most of the famous ff pieces such as to zanarkand, one winged angel, aerith's theme and otherworld. Other ppl wrote the less known pieces like the themes to different areas, like the thunder planes. GOD I'M A GEEK  Undecided

Ooooooh i wish i found this thread sooner!!! my favorite one on piano street now Smiley.
Do you guys realize that Nobuo Uematsu quit Square-Enix? He agreed to continue making compositions when they requested, but they wont be so ample as before Sad. The last one he helped out on really sucked.. It was for FFXIII, the ending part of the game (i bet it would have turned out a whole lot better if he had actually written the entire peice). If anyone wants to listen to FF music you can go here:

http://www.vgmusic.com/

You'll have to go to the console section the game was made in, you can find midi's on other games too.
