I think I need to practice this!

Also, we need to write an article on Schumann's pedal markings and how to translate them into the modern piano.

no pedal on the start notes until you've played the intial notes (sound), then add pedal quick.  otherwise - the note gets immediately blurred by the vibrations of itself.

Sam hears the ascending fourths at the beginning and tells me something along the lines that I (the fox, we do a lot of fantasy role play) better watch out because the hunters are out to get me.

We both concluded this is a pretty scary song for foxes.
