I don't often record improvs like this, but play in this style often. I was inspired to give it a more creative effort by some of my friends here on pianostreet, and also by keith jarrett's "Radiance" album. enjoy

Listening to this again, I'm not sure I'd call it atonal...more like "very chromatic."

I have to admit that in general I'm not that interested in improvised music. So I rarely klick on "improvisation" links in the audition room. The "atonal" in the title made me curious.
Honestly I can say, I like this improvisation very much. though I agree with you, it's not really "atonal". But that's not a big disadvantage.
