I think I would love it
Though, perhaps there might be a duo piece at the end. Perhaps something like Ravel's Tzigane
Oh sorry caprice no 24 is already a duo piece, my bad

No. The program is a jumbled mess. It lacks the continuity of mood that is essential for an extended program.

No. The Beethoven is a bore, the Schumann a cliche. The second half is a hodge-podge of the ridiculous and the sublime.
I'd rather be at home, practicing.

Well obviously he wants comments on the programme itself, not the format.
I think it sounds interesting - Maybe because I've never been to a piano/vocal recital, and I'd like to go to one - So yeah, I'd go.

A program is not just the music being played, it's the format. So all the criticism is justified in that sense!

I think the order is ineffective. After the complete Beethoven, you give a fragmented Schumann, then a single chanson, then a single aria. I recommend opening with the Fauré, then the Schumann, then the Beethoven, then as a sort of programmed encore, the Rossini.
If you open with the Beethovne, everything afterwards will sound like little bits and pieces, without direction, and they might as well be anything.

Well, except for the fact that I doubt Mr. franz_ was looking for the great advice of getting himself a symphony orchestra instead of a singer.

Indeed.
So people who might be interested, tell me way. And those who don't like it, also say why, but give a realistic advice.

i like this programme. no one can say you have to do this 24/7 - but once in a while it's very refreshing! of course, you don't NEED to have anyone with you - but when you CHOOSe - it's not a copout in my opinion. i think it shows an ability to listen to other musicians. some soloists can't do that, you know. i think the repertoire in this program is very cool.
