Suggestions for Music School for BM Piano Performance??

I'm planning to apply to a few music schools this year, including University of Michigan and University of Wisconsin. I live in Michigan, and I'm trying to find a school that's relatively close (like Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin). Does anybody have any suggestions??

I guess nobody can really determine playing levels, but some current repertoire I'm working on is:

Bach - English Suite #2
Beethoven - Opus 57 (Waldstein)
Beethoven Concerto #3
Brahms - Intermezzo Opus 118.6
Chopin - Etude 10.2

Basically, I'm not looking at ultra-competitive conservatories (like Juilliard, Curtis) but rather a school like Michigan where I think my level of playing will fit better.

Indiana University is actually an extremely good school for music.  Their faculty is very impressive, and their previous faculty even more so (Xenakis, for instance).

But how good are the faculty in regards to actual teaching abilities?  In my own experience and the opinions of others, the most name recognized teachers were often the worst piano teachers, though many didn't realize it at the time they were studying with them.  Most were just happy to be students of these well-known pianists.

Inevitably, I am somewhat biased, having been in the atmosphere, however, I have never studied with the three professors of whom I spoke.  Pressler I knew of as a teacher before coming here - he is one of the great teachers of the U.S. with John Perry and Yoheved Kaplinsky.  Watts is loved by his students as a good teacher, but I do not know much more than that.  Cohen is said to be quite the taskmaster, brutal at times, but a fine teacher. 

There is one other that I would mention, of whom you may or may not know.  This is Emile Naoumoff, who is new in the last seven or eight years.  I've found him to be a superb teacher, recitalist, accompanist, chamber musician, and overall person.  He gives each student 1 1/2 hr. lessons weekly, as well as a master class that lasts from 8:30p till sometimes 11p weekly.  He is kind, generous, intelligent, and to wit, has a composer's insight, having been the last pupil of Nadia Boulanger, as well as a student of Henri Dutilleux.

Also on faculty are Luba Edlina-Dubinsky, Edward Auer, Karen Shaw, Evelyne Brancart, Edmund Battersby, David Cartledge, Shigeo Neriki, and Jean-Louis Haguenauer.
