Any good Bach prelude and fugue for me to work on?

Hi:)

I need one prelude and one fugue Wohltemperierte Klavier. The problem is.. I hate Bach..

I need something that I can almost enjoy.

I enjoy listening to pieces like: Chopin op 10 4, 10 12, 25 11, 25 6, Scriabin op 11 no 14, op 42 no 5, op 8 12, liszt: la camp. mazeppa, rach 23 5, BEGINNING rach concert 2 and 3. Hope I make my taste clear. If I don't just ask!

Bach P+Fs aren't as immediately satisfying as the showpieces you mentioned, but i'm sure that when you get stuck into one you will have an epiphany and begin to love it. I would recommend the c minor from the first book, as the prelude is very dramatic and showy, while the fugue is one of the easier ones (only 3 voices) and also has quite a dramatic subject.
There are lots of resources here and elsewhere for learning fugues. I suggest you look at them or the fugue will be extremely difficult to learn!

Thanks for the suggestion! I like the first part, then it get worse in the fugue, but I think i will look at this. Thank you for your advice!
