Chopin- Revolutionary Etude

My first posted recording... It's not all that good, and the quality of the recording is lacking (I just used a half-working computer mic)

The song isn't perfect and the dynamics were difficult to achieve with the mic I used...

Anyway I'm doing a Spanish project on Chopin and I just needed to record something quick and I figured I might as well post it here since I made it...

Any thoughts/criticisms welcome

 Not bad  , its not easy,aside from the fast runs you have these fairly fast octave to deal with, and obviously the musical interpretation.Since you can play this etude from start to finish, i'd say put the music to one side and come back to it in a few years. By then you will have improved as a pianist and would be in a better pessition re-start this piece with more confidance.

You need to work more on the melody. Not that much static playing, be more loose in the rhythm and calm down i think.

Anyway it was good playing

You have talent. You play with flair. You play the dotted rhythms in the right hand as they should be played, and the left hand is good. It's a pity about the piano though! But this is how I would play this piece.

haha thanks... it wasn't one of my finer performances looking back... I've improved on the piece since then, but I've worked on a lot of other things too, as my ADD got the best of me...

I do have a new piano and mic since this recording as well =] the quality is much improved
