Improve member profiles

Dear Nils,

As I listen to people in the audition room, I notice some people are surprisingly good (of course).  I  immediately wonder "what is their piano background?  Where did they study? What else do they play?"


Perhaps we could expand member  profiles to include options such as these:

--Number of years of lessons
--Repertoire list

And maybe:

--Music schools attended (optional--perhaps too specific for some)
--also perhaps short paragraph length area where they could summarize their musical background or current musical endeavors.
--competitions won (?)

Perhaps even:
--what kind of piano do you own

Artificial temporary suggestion: Perhaps someone could start a thread where people post such info about themselves, and the user could edit their signature to include a link to the post containing their info?

Good idea.  We are actually planning in a coming upgrade to add the possibility for members to create presentation pages where any kind of information can be added, but more extensive profile pages with predefined sections as you suggest would be a good alternative or addition to this.
