I think I may have bit off a bit more than I can chew with the first movement of Beethoven's Sonatina in D, but I really like this piece and want to learn it. This is the most difficult piece I've seriously attempted (I've fooled around with harder songs, but never seriously attempted to learn them.)
There are some passages in particular that I'm having trouble with.
Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks!
(It may sound pathetic that I'm stuck on such an easy piece, but please forgive my noobishness. I'm only 14, and I'm a slow learner at the piano.)
The first one, eyeball the note above you need to hit, but fingering wise, use 1-5, it's the easiest to jump. And move the entire hand up, don't stretch.
Second, either trill using 3-4, or hit the second chord as 1-2, and trill using 2-3. This will make the closing group tricky though, you'll have to rapidly adjust your hand.
Third, I would recommend 4-1-2-1, 4-1-(5-3)-1, (5-3)1-2-1, (4-2)-1-(5-3)-1
