ahhhh fminor evil
(sorry I really prefer Gmin for this)

I don't know anything about vocal technique so I can't say anything about the singing.

piano could use a tuning

I've played this in the original and Liszt's transcription (as well as my own LH arr.)
The original is easily the most painful of the 3. I know what you're going through, so I feel your pain. Your RH wrist is doing fantastic work. Congratulations on not hiding behind pedaling. There could be less RH during the Erlkoenig's first singing part - it throws the listener off rhythmically if the pulse from the LH octaves don't project. I could use a more flowing RH for the Erlkoenig's second singing part, as a contrast to the surrounding parts.
Very good performance.

I also prefer in G minor.
The singer requested to transpose to E minor, but I think it's very fit with his voice. Piano's hammer is getting heavier though.

Wow, you play Liszt transcript and made your own LH arrangement ! You must be very good and have great knowledge/ experience.
Yes, this is a great work, but the piano part is very painful to play and very hard for the singer also.
From my whole repertoire, this is the most venomous one ! Thanks to feel my pain ..
Also thanks a lot for your nice comments and good advice in earlkonig's singing parts.

Although this is a forum for piano, will highly apreciate if someone can give comments/ advice on Vocal part also.
I personally love the singer, but perhaps some one will give comments/ advice for better performance ..

Thanks in advance, and thanks a lot for liszt1022

Well, I like this piece and the way it is interpreted. But I would take more weight on the left hand and let the this voice becoming stronger. Further I wouldn't play the quarter notes in measure 2 and 3 (just as an example) that short, 'cause I think they become so powerless trough staccato... But you know: I'm not a pro and it is alright you play it!!

About the vocal part I would advise you to show more differences in loudness and pronounciation (e.g. erlkönig - father - son) but in general it was more than perfect!

Very nice! With best regards

PS: "spät" is pronounced as "shpät" (as in shoe) Wink
