Edirol R-09, Zoom H4, Zoom H2 or something completely different?

In short, I want to buy something to record with at a relatively publishable quality (not like a pro studio recording, of course...). These three devices are what I've narrowed my search down to. The question is, which one? Anyone has experience with these? Any other suggestions (no more expensive than the R-09)?

I just got a Zoom H2 and I have to say, it's recording quality is surprisingly good! I can send you a recording of the first two movements of Beethoven's 8th violin sonata, recorded from a pretty big distance without altering any of the settings (because I don't know any of the settings yet lol). PM me for the recording. Tomorrow I will record the first two movements of Kreisleriana with it in a concert hall, so maybe I can send you those too if you're interested.

I have the Zoom H4 and, although I've only used it for my own piano work, I'm reasonably happy with it. It works as well as any recorder I've ever used, and better than many for piano work.

I second the Zoom H4 - an excellent machine although the controls could be better thought out. Quality of recording is good although you might want to upgrade the mics at some point.
