When I click on an mp3 attachment in the audition room it seems to download but won't play. A message tells me that real player does nor support this and when I click details it simply says php. I can play and record other mp3 material so can anyone tell me what to do please.

This same thing happened to me when I would open it in a temporary file.  If you save the file onto your computer, it should solve the problem and you should be able to then open it and play it.  I don't know why it's like that though.

Sounds like mp3's are associated with real player.  Try associating mp3's with quicktime, or winamp instead.

Real player has allays seemed buggy to me because of the REAL presence of so many ads!

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Oh yeah, hee hee.  I didn't even think about that because I use real player as my default player.  You are right, quantum !

Thanks Mayla (et al), I tried saving it first and it played immediately with no problems - in real player! All I want now is for someone to listen and comment to my 'Fernando Sor' post in the Audition room. Thanks again. Les
