Durch alle Töne tönet
Im bunten Erdentraum
Ein leiser Ton gezogen
Für den, der heimlich lauschet.

Anyone has a clue as to what could be a comfortable tempo for the first etude of the op72.
I have an edition with a 144 to 148 in 1/4. This is very, very fast for me.
Is this recommended as the goal or can it be slower ?

Thanks
