I humiliated myself this morning on my piano pedagogy class. Usually my professor call someone else to go up front to play and unfortunately he called me and he wanted me to play the piece that I work on which is piano sonata by mozart. I felt bad because it wasn't that good and they told me I have lazy fingers etc. I'm still in immediate level and still working on my sight reading, scales etc. But of course it was part of our discussion however, I feel down and ashamed to myself and I always feel intimidated with my other classmates because they are so good. And i think most of them won't talk to me coz I'm really suck in playing piano... Sad

I don't talk to other pianists at my school as well. Wink

You'll get over it.  Or you could quit and that will solve all your problems.

...lazy fingers Huh sounds like they're pasting some physiologically questionable labels on students at your school.

Being forced to play when you're not ready is a big mistake made by your piano class teacher. From what you say, the fault appears to lie with your professor. I have taught hundreds of band and piano students over the last twenty years. Teaching 101... be sure your students can give a reliable performance before exposing them to a high pressure situation.

Don't be discouraged. If your story is to be taken at face value, you did nothing wrong.
