In the second movement, at measures 55, 63, 126 and 134, there are some turns (sometimes called gruppettos). I'm not familiar with this ornament. Shall I play it beginning with the upper note or beginning with the lower note ? Thank you.
this is a ornament from the baroque period. Beethoven admired Bach! You know he also wrote fugues . It begins on the upper note and the symbol wants to show you that you have to "play around the B flat in meausre 55.
