Advice needed for a future Piano student

I'm 19 years old. My qeustion. Do you think I have a chance of succes in a career involved with the Piano. Am I to young? Should I start learning the Piano?

PS: I just wrote of a whole story about my life and my passion for Art.
My story got deleted by a click accident. And I don't have the time anymore to write it all back again. Not to mention my lmited writing skills of the English language, since i'm Dutch.

I haven't been allowed, gotten the chance to start since I was a kid in my childhood. So am I simply too old now?

Note that I have currently no occupations. And I'm prepared to spend a lifetime to be a skilled piano player. For career purposes also.

they are very simple piece,get yourself a good teacher ,in less them 1 year you can play them i start it at 28 ,and im doing great ,i play bach ,chopin yes practice and you are going to see the result

4I've started at 38 if this tells you something and in three years time I can play Mozart Bach Grieg Medelson Chopin is next but I practice a lot. The point here is that if you want to learn and you are determined you are going to make it. Find a good and experienced teacher, it is very important. For a carreer I do not know but I think in ten years time, if you can afforred it financially I mean and your life path does not change dramatically, you would be mature enough for a carrer if you are that good. And a last piece of advice lissen lissen and watch watch great pianists in action.

You are not to old at all.
I advocate learning by playing chords because that may help you 'see' the music pieces clearer... identify them by parts/sections... even to implement your own style... or write your own songs.
