I always wanted to see (and hear!) him live. Now he is coming to amsterdam, June 15 2008.
He is going to play:

J.S. Bach - Partita no. 2 BWV 826
Beethoven - Sonate np. 32 op. 111
Brahms - Klavierstücke, op. 119
Szymanowski - Variations On A Polish Theme, Op. 10

Would you go if it was nearby?

I would go without a doubt.

Can you get a recording of the Brahms?    They're some of the greatest piano music ever written, and I really wonder what his interpretation is like.

For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

:O I hope it won't be complete sold out so I can get a sprint ticket, it's just after all my exams and tests so I'd love to go. I'd probably record it too, Op. 111, wow :O .

If you would, I can't describe how indebted I'd feel.
