I need your help

There is a DVD I'm very interested in.
It is about alexander technique applied to piano playing.
The author sells it privately as it have not been released for the market.
I contacted him to ask how to buy it and I was offered a lot of option except my favorites (paypal) or the ones I can use (money transfer from bank to bank)

I was given an address and asked to use a "money order" which is an american thing
which doesn't exist where I live.

So I was hoping that maybe some from USA can buy it using the money order or whatever and send it to me in europe. I will pay all the expenses and the service via paypal, credit card, bank transfer or what you prefer.

So is there anyone who want to help me ?

I would have thought that you could arrange a money order in dollars almost from anywhere. It would not be very financially astute for someone to restrict themselves to USA market.

If you give me the link, i will have a look. If it looks genuine, i will do it for you.

I contacted my bank and they don't know what a "money order" is.
I asked what option they have that allow me to send money to USA and they told me the only bank operation I can do is transferring money from bank to bank and to do that I would need the bank coordinates of the seller.

If you give me the link, i will have a look. If it looks genuine, i will do it for you.

A money order is usually a bankers draft drawn in the currency as required by the recipient.

Got an e mail back today, it is only a draft in US dollars they require.

No the author is authentic because I have checked info about him and he is indeed an university professor and often write newsgroups and forum expecially one about Alexander Technique. Let me know when you have the video. But have you ordered two? One for you and one for me?

Much to my amazement, this actually turned up today. It works as well.

It is a DVD, not a video, which is better for posting.

That made my day, today I was definitely in need of a good new

I have watched this and it is rather interesting.

If it was just another man harping on about the Alexander Technique, I probably would have not got to the end, but this man is a pianist with some considerable abiities.

I always find it easier to take instruction from someone that can actually do things as well as talk about them. He plays as if it is not causing him the slightest effort and he must be in his 60's.

The one thing that i could not understand, is that he suggested that pianists pause before making a mistake instead of playing through it. How do you know if you are going to go wrong?

Anyone, it is food for thought.
