Annoying (and maybe stupid) things musicians do and say

Like the other threads, but about musicians.
I'm assuming these people are musicians. I'm pretty sure they are. I just find it really annoying when someone in the audience points out that a performers on stage is playing out of tune. This person always sits right behind me. I hear the sour note on stage. Then I hear Mr./Ms. Know-it-all behind me say to their friend, "Sharp/Flat," with a condescending tone in their voice.
I have heard musician do some of those things on the other lists too. This tuning one though, man. If it's sour, don't say anything. We know. And if we don't, don't tell us.

Wasn't there a thread called "stupid things MUSICIANS say to us" a while back? Some noob should bump it back...
Anyway, I hate the way some of them will bring up their "superior" musical education in an argument as if it automatically makes anything they say gold... They usually do it as a final attempt to grasp onto some credibility after they've been shown to be a complete idiot.

One musician I know accidentally broke a light fixture on the floor as she was getting out of the shower. She then looked directly at the pile of broken glass and stepped in it. She ended up in the hospital.
I put this on the annoying list of things musicians do, because many of us are totally out of it a lot of the time. Not all of us, but many of us.

Actually I do that.
But in my case it's usually because I've explained something and someone refuses to believe it. One time I had a big argument with a pianostreet member--he said negative musical intervals exist, and I said they do not. He said that a C to a Cb would be a negative interval, while a C to a C# would be a positive interval.
I worked very hard to tell him this was not true, and that negative intervals do not exist. Finally I just gave up and said "Look, I've got a doctorate in music. They don't exist!"
He still did not believe me.
Regarding your other point--anytime anyone shows me to be an idiot (like if I don't know a piece of famous repertoire
) then I go out of my way to CONCEAL my education out of embarrassment! haha

Haha, I was referring to the people who think their "offerings" on matters of opinions are always right and their best defense is that they studied with so-and-so at wherever. So if that person had turned around and said, "Look I studied with ________, and negative intervals DO exist!", when they're really talking crap, that's what would get on my nerves.

Most annoying thing I've ever seen...Yr 8 music class. One of the girls did a performance of a pop song on piano. One of the pianists with his head up his backside promptly got up, walked to the piano, stated 'I can do that better than you' and proceeded to play it...better than her.
He's such a d*ck.

A small part of me gets annoyed just talking about music. It's kind of silly since it's inevitable that we're gonna talk about it, but sometimes I can't help but think "shut up and play"

One of the things that bothers me immensely. Go to almost any youtube video and some ******* will inevitably comment "wrong note at 1:09".
