i noticed that, just like his 3rd sonata in question, there are many discrepancies between the various editions.
for example, bar 31 of henle shows crotchet octave, quaver rest, quaver octave, crotchet octave, while Breitkorp shows quaver octave, quaver rest, crotchet octave, crotchet octave.
so which is the one chopin really intended? i tried to listen to recordings to find a more preferred pattern, but also realised that neither version was preferred by pianists.
can anyone comment?
