Liebermann Gargoyles No. 1

I'm having trouble with the passage in measures 12 and 13. I'm using the following fingering:
R: 5-4-3-2-1-2-1 4-3-2-1-2-1
L: 1-1-2-3-4-5 2-4-1-2-3-4-1
Has anyone played this piece and come up with better, more effective, fingering? The fingering above feels a bit akward to me.

Then find another solution and stop telling us about your dirty laundry.

I don't understand why you found it necessary to contribute to this thread.
Anyway, I can think of at least ten different ways to play this passage--all of them akward. I was hoping someone who has played this would share their "tried and true" method, or assure me that this fingering is practical.
