Love's a fallacy.

Sigmund Freud would probably agree with you, his thoughts on love is nothing like what most people would believe love to be.

Well, according to that old cliché, they mostly do, in fact - in other words, they do just what they like, they are untrainable and they expect humans to do just what they want them to do; not all of them are like this, of course, but it is not exactly an inaccurate portrayal of the now-domesticated felines as a species...

Essyne : calm down, if i asked me all these questions, i think i could be mad. It useless to ask all these question, because when something will happen, you will continue to ask u so many question...and your life will just be a lot of questions that you won't know the answers !!! Kiss

Lucy, you rock.

And, you're completely right, I must admit. I think too much.

But apparently he does too.

*throws up hands* I give up!

((I take that back  Undecided)).

the problem is this one : he's boy driving me maaaaaaaaaad  Embarrassed .

They'll often do that, they will. Men too. <-- Those are the trickier breed, I tell you  Tongue.

Hmm - b-day present wise. . . I'd get him something personal, if he's your lover. . . it's not really something that a 3rd party can tel you, "Oh! Here's the PERFECT!!! gift! He'll love it!!!" You'll just know on your own and pray to god that they like it, lol. If not, well, you tried  Wink.

Mines' (*mines'(?!?)* I give up on English. . .) birthday is coming up. . . hehe. This'll be funnnn  Tongue.

Just don't sweat it. Hopefully he wants you for you and not the little 'gifts' you can give him. . . .

Buy him a pair of ear plugs.

If he is going out with you, he will be grateful.

Hmmm...I got lost. LOL

First it was Alistair's love life that was being discussed...then lucylucy's...which are we meant to be discussing. Or maybe it would be best to ask which would be most interesting.

*sniggers*

Love isn't a fallacy because it's based on instinct, I personaly have the reasonable opinion that love is a strategy that human kind invented in orther to survive, like animals do everyday, but in a larger and psychological way as the intelectual development needs.

Isn't love a concept invented in the past 500 years or so?--or at least the kind of love talked about in this thread...

I don't believe that it was actually discussed (nor need it be, thank you).

No need to be rude towards me, Alistair...I was merely commenting. I have not made any judgement of guesses about your life.

Of course there's no need for rudeness, but then I wasn't being rud to you or anyone else; whilst my response had been generated by your post, I merely pointed out that aspects of my life had not actually been discussed in the thread and this does not in any sense reflect upon you one way or the other. I am also aware that you had made no such judgements or guesses. I think therefore that you misunderstood what I wrote.

I think therefore that you misunderstood what I wrote.

That is probable.

I fully understand that it is your choice what you wish to say, or not say, about your personal life. That is all I'm going to say now.

OK - as long as at the same time you have also understood that I was neither being rude to you (or anyone else) nor intending to be so in what I wrote.
