Has anyone played a sonata by Soler? If so, is there one that is worth playing?

I have a 'best of' CD that I haven't listened to yet. I'll get back to you.
Everyone who has heard his stuff, though, thinks it's crazy good. And also just plain crazy.

Interview with the vampire (movie) has a piano piece of soler (blabla in F# or something, shall look it up) it's claudia playing it in front of his teacher.
The film also has a Joseph Haydn piece (piano sonata :#52) where a zombie lestat is playing it (melancholic cantabile piece).
I also have a best of soler disk but also didnt listen it so far...but i sure will and post my likes/dislikes here

Have a look here for another thread dealing with Soler:
http://www.pianoforum.net/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=repo;action=display;num=1083893190
Here are three beautiful sonatas to get you started:
Sonata no. 28 in C
Sonata no. 37 in D
Sonata no. 47 in Cm
They are not “sonatas” in the classical sense, but modelled on Scarlattti sonatas – which they resemble to a certain extent (Soler was Scarlatti’s pupil).
Naxos has recorded the complete sonatas (on the harpsichord, though)
Best wishes,
Bernhard.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I did some searching and found a website that describes Soler's life, his music compositions, and has midi files of a few of his sonatas. (they are played on a harpsichord)

Pretty cool!
