Theory

I have a question about theory that I cann't get a clear answer to from my piano teacher.
Some back ground first. I've been taking piano for 18 months. I am in the third book of theory in the Hanon for Adults series. Theory is very easy for me. It is a lot like math in the fact that it builds one concept upon the last concept.
My problem is that I work way to fast. I have a "limit" of two pages a week. This limit is set by my piano teacher. My question is... what am I missing? I have tried slowing down by playing the scales of a particular key. I am even learning what chords/chord progressions/and fingering should be with each key. I IV and V7 seem to be so simple my only problem is remembering what the chord name is for them in a specific key. The only thing so far that has slowed me down much is tripplets.
Any suggestions on things to do to slow down in theory?
