scales?
And don't play the Italian concerto.....try the ninth fugue from the Art of Fugue. It has a similar virtuosic subject, and needless to say the counterpoint is much more satisfying.

Don't worry, you'll be fine.
So you've only got problems with scales, right?
The first thing you need to do is checking on the scales which appear (they should mostly be in F). Now practise this scale with the left hand, going 3 Octaves up and 3 Octaves down - do it slowly, use the right fingerings. Now use different rhythms, like 4th to 8th notes;in the end you should be able to play one 4th and eight 16th notes following - by that time you should be comfortable with those scales.
Practising using rhythms is always helpful when playing bach - you learn avoiding unnecessary accents and get comfortable with the fingerings.
I hope my English was good enough to explain that. Good Luck.
