Help please! What is the effective method?

Hello everyone!
i have took some piano lessons for 2 years when i was 13 years old. But i had to leave it for some reasons. But i played it by my self only for fun. but it wasnt so productive for me. I purchased a new digital piano to start to learn again but this time seriously.

Where should i start again. Which practise books should i learn? "Can you advise some tips for me? i mean like a walkthrough guide." Step by step what should i practise.

None of these are useful if you don't have a teacher. Find a teacher. If you are serious about learning piano, it is the only effectice way to go about it. If you can't afford it find a college student to do it for a low fee, or a friend to help you out for a while. If you call around you may find people who will do it as community service.

There are no "step-by-step" methods that will teach you how to play. They may teach you notes, but what about proper techinque, interpretations and other important musical things in the music.
