Hi everyone,

Here's my first piano piece at this Forum, hehe..
It's a recording of L'Isle Joyeuse.. I played it almost a year ago, it's not very good (the piece didn't really fit with me)..
I actually prefer pieces like Suggestion Diabolique (Prokofiev) or Toccata (Chatschaturjan)  Grin
Anyway, I had to play L'Isle Joyeuse at a concert so here's the link to my record:

If you can't open it, check out my site.. Beneath my photo you can click on the same link..
Comments or advice? Please tell me  Smiley

P.S. I quit playing this piece btw  Tongue

The last recording i did was Etude in A Flat. It would have sounded better in A Hall though.

Wow, it's difficult really for me to judge people who are so much more at advanced than I, so all I can really say is that.... this piece didn't fit with you? Well, either way, you played it wonderfully and beautiully and... what I would give to be as relaxed as you are on stage. Then again, I see that you are going to a conservatorium..... ahhh!!?? but as I look once more, you are.... 2 days older than me. That's right. 2 days. I am once more taken aback. Your technique is excellent; your musicality is supreme, and.... I wish I had your all-too-enviable skills. I mean, not that I couldn't play that piece, but your stage presence is what I envy more.

I've decided to put the rambling to an end. Excellent performance.

How long have you been playing piano?

Edit: By the way, please post many, many more recordings of your playing.

That's really something.  Good job.  I suck at piano so I guess anything sounds good to me, but in all honesty, you're amazing.

Absolutely wonderful and a joy to listen too. I just burned it on cd so I can listen to it in the car or in my portable cd player when I go on bike rides.

What fingering(s) do you and/or have you used in L'Isle Joyeyse for the right hand, in the PS edition second page, second to last and third to last measures?
