Thought this was interesting - it also backs up what some of you have been saying on this forum (it's always nice when science confirms our ideas, isn't it? ;)).  I got it off of Yahoo's RealAge Tip of the Day.

"In a recent study, people who attempted to learn a new keyboard-type skill performed better on a test 12 hours later if they got some shuteye in between. People who did not sleep during the interim 12 hours performed worse. The study showed that sleep activates brain areas involved in memory consolidation."

So . . . .
