Favourite instruments

Instead of drums, you should just call it percussion. I happen to really love percussion, and I often don't restrict that liking to just drums.

Me favourite instrument, the Goldtone Deluxe Banjolele.

The one i bought on e bay has just been expertly converted to left handed by Andy Perkins Banjos and it sounds great.

Still not perfected the split stroke.

I hate guitars. Really much. To liberally quote some conductor whose name I can't remember, when he was talking about harpsichords, they sound like skeletons getting on with it on tin roofs.

I voted piano, cello and sax. Such beautiful tone (if played right) in those. I wish I could play cello and sax.

Yeah, I love Cello. I voted piano, cello, and harp.

I would love to be able to play cello and harp, and I already play piano.

Similar, but crisper and louder. Basically, it is a cross between banjo and ukulele.

Easy to learn, very difficult to master.

Check this bit of nice playing.

...or maybe people are thinking of it as being in the same category as the flute, much like someone would associate a bass clarinet as being in the same category of the clarinet.

Chinese Pipa.

Gorgeous instrument. Also the most difficult of all Chinese instruments.
